Wedding Venues In Buckinghamshire

I have been so lucky to work at a number of stunning wedding venues in Buckinghamshire. In this blog I write about some of my favourites and share some photos of these amazing wedding locations.

Hedsor House

Hedsor House is definitely one of the most spectacular wedding venues I have photographed. The exclusive use Georgian House is stunning, and grounds and gardens perfectly kept. Hedsor House is also a popular filming location for film and TV which is no surprise when you witness this fantastic venue.

Located in Taplow, Buckinghamshire it is just a 45-minute journey from London and is hidden away at the end of a winding driveway. At the end of the driveway as the house comes in to view the sight will take your breath away.

One of my favourite aspects is the bridal suite which is so spacious and is flooded with natural light. This space is a perfect location for bridal prep the morning of a wedding.

The ceremony can take place in the centre hall which is so stunning with the glass dome above. At one wedding the flowers for the ceremony were breath-taking and lined the aisle beautifully.

For bride and groom photos I am spoilt for choice at Hedsor House. There are so many locations and the sunken garden is a favourite. At one winter wedding it was prefect as I didn’t want the bride and groom to walk across the damp grass, so the paving of the sunken garden was ideal.

At the weddings I have photographed at Hedsor House the wedding breakfast has always taken place in the Ballroom which is stunning with large doors overlooking the gardens. This room is perfect for styling to your own personal choice when it comes to your wedding decoration.

Evening parties are always so much fun at Hedsor House with the band or DJ setting up in the centre hall. The parties never disappoint, and the dance floor is filled all night.

Here is a collection of some of my favourite Hedsor House wedding photos.

De Vere Latimer Estate

I have photographed a number of weddings at the Latimer Estate and it is quickly becoming one of my favourite wedding venues.

Located outside of Chesham in the Buckinghamshire countryside the hotel underwent a £7 million refurbishment. The views across the Chess Valley are stunning and perfect for wedding photos.

The ceremonies for the weddings I have photographed at the Latimer Estate have taken place in the Cavendish Suite. The room is them opened up and set up for the wedding breakfast and evening party. With doors leading out to the outside decking area it is perfect for a summer evening wedding reception.

The Latimer Estate is prefect for wedding photos with so many options available from group photos to bride and groom photos.

One of my favourite features is the beautiful staircase. I love creating a night-time photo and at Edwina and David’s wedding I got the shot set up and asked the bride and groom to join me for a few minutes to get the photo, and it is still one of my favourites.

Here is a selection of wedding photos from the wonderful Latimer Estate.

Tudor Barn

Tudor Barn has a special place in my heart as I got married here myself. Located in Burnham in Buckinghamshire this barn venue is beautiful and the gardens and surroundings stunning.

Ceremonies can take place in the garden room as well as outside under the beautiful wooden gazebo. The wedding breakfast and evening party then takes place in the stunning barn with original timber framed beams.

Unfortunately, on my own July wedding day it poured with rain, so when I photographed Natasha and Daniel’s sunny February wedding, I was able finally get out there for photographs, just this time I was on the other side of the camera.

Here are some wedding photos from a beautiful Tudor Barn wedding.

Bisham Abbey

Bisham Abbey is located just outside of the Marlow in Buckinghamshire, next to the River Thames. The site as a whole is home to the National Sports Centre, with weddings taking place at the Abbey itself, next to the river.

The building is surrounded by lovely grounds and there are some great spots for photos. I love including greenery in the wedding photos I take and Bisham Abbey is always so well kept.

There are a number of choices for rooms to use in Bisham Abbey, from The Warwick Room to The Great Hall. The Great Hall is a good space for wedding breakfasts with is being so spacious.

Here are some of my favourite wedding photos from Bisham Abbey.

I hope you have enjoyed this blog looking at Buckinghamshire wedding venues. If you are still on the hunt for a wedding venue I also have written a blog about my favourite wedding venues in Berkshire. Please take a look here.
